I seem to recall that one of our designers was working on Oakdale as the site of the 2023 Canadian Open (I did a search but came up empty). Oakdale is a 27 hole course consisting of three 9-hole courses (like Hamilton) however unlike Hamilton Oakdale will be a composite route incorporating all 3 courses. It seems rather "gimmicky" but none of the actual course combinations will yield a 7,000 yard total yardage so it looks as if they've had to replace some "300" par 4's with "400" par 4's and change a couple of Par 5's to Par 4's.s²
Just a warning if you're working on Oakdale...I can't find a site that shows the routing. I'm not sure if they've worked it out yet.
