That is great to hear! Good luck with the project. It looks like the area has fairly high detail on Google Earth (I have no idea if you'd be able to find anything more accurate than that or not for this particular course), so unless someone comes up with anything better - take a look at this topic viewtopic.php?f=7&t=103

Some additional advice about Google Earth:

-If you set Google Earth to show feet instead of meters, you're able to see elevation readings more accurate.

-While grabbing screenshots of GE to put into APCD, consider whether the latest historical images are easier to work with or not, compared to the default 3D one.

-While grabbing screenshots of GE to put into APCD, turn off the "Terrain" filter temporarily, to avoid stretching based on viewpoint, for more horizontal accuracy.

Oh and also, Colin Jones figured out a way to speed up the GE elevation process, see viewtopic.php?f=7&t=966

Here are 2 sources for green map contours that have seen sites referenced here in Links.

You'll have to buy the Strackaline book, the designer would never publish its green contours for people to download freely. I'm still amazed at all the private courses that let their green contours be sold.

Frisco high school gets to practice there next year, so I will get some pics of it next year as its still not open. They are building the hotel now, everyone is anxious to play it.

Hey, You have the name mixed up, the new PGA course is called PGA Frisco - a great drone video on this link btw
https://www.pga.com/story/explore-the-f ... pga-frisco

It is NOT called Frisco Lakes, not sure what you got that, but Frisco Lakes is another course here in Frisco, not so great IMO, played it many times, but its' just a regular course in a neighborhood. Those green books are for Frisco Lakes, NOT the course you want. There aren't any green books for PGA Frisco as of yet from what I could find.

STOP, your creating the wrong course! :fear: Your working off the wrong aerial, PGA Frisco is north of there about 5-10 miles, there are 36 holes, an East and West course - its on Google Earth in nice color.
