Hi All,

I have a Winged Foot East somewhat done......at least the elevations, it's all textured......I do not want to plant it......Anyone up for the challenge...?????

I'd have to contour the greens but that is easy.......

I'll link anyone who wants to give it a go to the course.

Sage......
If there is one thing ................ummmmmmmm.......I can't remember.

I have Tot Hill Farm on my "to do" list, albeit low on the totem pole. I already have the overhead sized and a few elevation points plotted. I have several courses I want to accomplish 1st though, to include two other Mike Strantz courses I've played in the past: Royal New Kent and Stonehouse, both in VA. It may take a while, but I'll get to it.

That's awesome . There are so many great courses in the sand hills area as well as the grand strand .
I think everyone would enjoy playing them .

Thanks for replying to my OP , Jim .

I'll give you a tip. If you want to interest someone into doing a course, try doing some of the legwork (virtual). Does their web site have good detailed images of each individual hole? Any flyovers? Anything else that could provide information for a designer? Is the Google Earth image 3D? There is more to it than just listing some names.

Have you searched to see if any of these have been done? Some names names seem familiar. Older games, perhaps?
No matter where you go, there you are.

Here are a few I'd like to add to this list:

Cabot Cliffs ----- Nova Scotia, Canada
Shoal Creek ----- Birmingham, Alabama
Desert Mountain ( Renegade Course ) Scottsdale, Arizona
Costa Baja Golf Club ------La Paz, Cabo San Lucas, MX

The Costa Baja venue is a Gary Player design. Beautiful views. Large elevation changes, etc.

The Renegade is a Jack Nicklaus signature design. Any of these would most likely be a pretty decent challenge to a skilled APCD designer.
