Hi Pete - can't understand how it can be steel grass when I've set everything to "pass through", low dampening and low density?? Maybe my APCD is getting old!

Cheers

Make sure you set the object settings before planting them instead of after.

There are ways for objects to get steel properties even if their settings were set correct though, I think I recall one of them that Lez brought up in one of his videos - if planting objects, having them selected, then clicking different objects from the planting list to change them. I think he said that causes steel properties, but maybe it was ok to do so if pressing to update the objects afterwards, unsure about that last part.

Brookside...HTF do you get these out so quickly!!!
I just finishied nitpicking Castle Pines...no rest for the wicked!
And I'm still trying to learn APCD...so I can nitpick myself...
...that's not a sin is it?😉

One more thing I should add-on your course home screens you put "X Course from an Impression..." JB, your "impressions" are pretty damn good!

Sorry, have been back and had a look at Dooks. I only used three different grasses throughout and have double-checked in three different locations - each and every one is set to "all pass through", "low density" and "less dampening". Can't understand why there should be problems.

Cheers

John, before I get started WTF is a “dook”? I Googled the word and found several definitions (some not very flattering) but nothing that relates to golf!

Never mind...I found the answer buried in the club website!

Folks, this is from the Dooks gallery...10 points for the first person who can tell me what's wrong with this picture.

BTW, I sent you an e-mail.

While doing my pre-nitpick I also came across this picture.
