Are you using the same computer now that you had the last time you were playing Links? If you are on the exact same computer, and you had ball flight before but not now, then I don't know what to say. But, if you are on a new computer or if you swapped out some major components, then I am going to say the root of the issue is Intel products, and the current configuration of those products is creating conflicts with Links. It's a quirk. It is not an uncommon issue, usually can be fixed I think, except I forgot what the most common solution is...

As a point of clarification in the event someone else has this same difficulty in the future, my computer is NOT a laptop computer. So the suggested fix also works (at least for me) on a regular PC.
