When I was playing every day, I would delete my .sha files about once a month to save hard drive space. Me and my pard rarely played the same course twice in a years time, so I didn't feel the need to keep the shadow files.

I even wrote a little batch file to do exactly that, they'll eat up a lot of room if you play many different courses.
Funny you say that. I created a batch file myself a couple of years ago for the same purpose. I even posted the instructions on the old forum before Andy upgraded. A quick double-click on the desktop shortcut, and POOF. All shadow files deleted.
