How to change the settings:

this is a regedit, so be careful...
go to start, run, regedit.
click on the following entries

HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software
Microsoft
Microsoft Games
LINKS 2003
Display Settings

Registry settings for specific resolutions:

15 - 1920 x 1200 (thanks, langle!)
14 - 1920 x 1080 (thank, Mick!)
13 - 1808 x 1008
12 - 1680 x 1050 *
11 - 1440 x 900
10 - 1366 x 768 **
9 - 1360 x 768 **
8 - 1280 x 960 **
7 - 1280 x 800
6 - 1280 x 768 **
5 - 1280 x 720
4 - 1600 x 1200 ***
3 - 1280 x 1024 ****
2 - 1024 x 768 ****
1 - 800 x 600 ****

* This only works on my computer in Full Screen Mode
** This only works in Windowed Mode on my computer
*** I know this value from my desktop computer
**** These are the original values from 1.05

I'm sure some can fill in 13 and 14. I believe 15 is the largest possible value.

Hi, one question, maybe anyone can help me. I've have tried this before in several times, and after set it to 15,
when I launch Links, it crashes and the value return to default number... I use Links in fullscreen
with windows 7 and my graphic card is nVidia GeForce GTX 650Ti.
I'm missing something or i'm doing anything wrong?

Any help or comments will be much appreciated!
Cheers! :tomato:

Are you sure that is your monitor resolution?
Try 14 and see what happens.

Hi Barry. Did you install the NVIDIA patch? If not, install it. If you already have, ignore my message.

The NVIDIA patch is an important patch and should be installed. It might be the one that solves your graphic issue.

Good luck,

Dan

Definitely try to set it to '14' - 1920 x 1080. I also use dgvoodoo and my resolution can go beyond 1920 x 1080, but I don't bother because it causes some graphical issues. 1920 works perfect and besides, your game is not going to look any better or worse with higher resolutions.

Hi there and thanks for your reply!
I've been checking it deeply. My Monitor's native resolution is 1920x1080. Anyway, when I try to modify the number for resolutuin through regedit,
the maximun number I can apply without a Links 2003 crashes after is "12". Any upper number makes Links crashes in the next launch and the number
in the registry self return to 0.

Any other seggestion or comment will be very welcome! Cheers!

Does Links fill the screen and everything look sharp when set to 12?
Do you have a 22 inch monitor?
