The way I see it - Takes like 1 minute to assign hole handicaps, so why not? Doesnt have to be so scientific or precise, if its a fictional course and one doesnt feel in an imaginative mood, can go purely based on hole length, or even just put completely random handicaps, its still a lot better than having all 0s.
Finished Courses - Main: Amedal (fictional), Nine Bridges (real)
Other: Austin, Sheshan, Kauri Cliffs, Le Golf Nat. Updates: Whirlpool, Royal Lytham, Royal St George's, Chicago, Chambers Bay, Munchen Nord E
Working on: 2 fictional courses + a couple things...

It's useful for anyone who cares about statistics, or even anyone who likes to evaluate their skills, like "How did I do on the hardest hole?"

Fine if they are assigned on original design. Not so fine to assign later on duplicate course. Once Final is published, leave it alone.
Or change the name of the course to avoid confusion.

"Want" plus "Very important", added together, should carry the vote. There really isn't any reason to leave them out since they're part of the game of Golf.

Want - just looks unfinished with zeros on scorecard. Don`t really pay much attention to them myself but they do come in handy at the odd time.

I've gone back and handicapped all my courses to be released and will do so for all my courses going forward. I have about 15 courses in the works.....most ready to go.

Sage,
How do you do it?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I started Pasatiempo on 18-12-2020 and after a quick count on the courses page you have released 27, and you have another 15 ready to issue.
I couldn't understand it if the courses were "incomplete", shall we say, but your courses are of the highest standard.

Unbelievable. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

I hope I eventually complete 27 courses, because at my rate of output I will have to be around for another 15 years.

Well done Sage. :cheers1: :cheers1:
