Formula for calculating a good score.

This actually was due to commentary during a tournament shown on Sky Sports Golf.
The main commentator, Ewan Murray, was talking about a player who had reached a score of -6 through 13
Ewans comment was that with the course conditions being taken into account, he expected this player to have a score of -9 (63).
I decided to try this theory/formula out.
To my surprise, and delight, that formula/equation is spot on.
Simplified, if you reach -6 through 13, one should have a fairly good chance of scoring 63.
For every shot short of six under, subtract from nine under.
For every shot more than six under, add one to the nine under.
Ewan Murray was on to a good idea then.
