Is there something wrong with the website? I haven't seen a new thread or post
for several days!

Hi Mr. M.πŸ˜‰

Trust me the site is still active...some folks have projects going on "behind the scenes"...and one of them is going to blow your mind!😁😁😁

People really don't discuss any longer or post. Shame.
Some people don't even acknowledge or give a simple thanks for helping them out 3 times!!! They won't see a 4th help post if they come back sooking they still can't get things working.

No, there's times they clearly have not forgot. Kinda over helping people.
After my second post the OP even went and tried my suggestion and got stuck doing that. I helped again and not even one acknowledgement in either thread. I just find it plain rude in a time people are bitching and moaning about things like Snow White. Think there are more basic things people need to worry about than what a Prince does in a fairytale. :dunno:

For the record, the dgvoodoo fix I suggested years ago when the laptop problem first came up. Someone obviously then went and tried it.
The USB fix is my doing.
There are more.

"You can lead someone to water, but you can't make them drink!"

We run into that a lot when trying to help - right, ....? Makes me appreciate those who take the time to offer a thank-you.

At the very least, an acknowledgement that the tip worked may help the next guy. If you have time to ask for help, you should have the time to say thanks, it worked.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Pete,
Reminds me of an old saying.
"you can lead a horse to water but a pencil must be lead".
