There aren't many musicians about whom we can say that we won't see their like again...that group is getting smaller and smaller.
It's an honour to say that I attended the same high school that he had dropped out of several years earlier.

2023. I'd never heard much from him as a solo artist, other than that MM video way back when (Somewhere Down the Crazy River), and I hadn't realized he was playing guitar for Bob Dylan. Amazing what you learn after the dude's gone. But that's what we're faced with: when we first began really following music as young teens, our idols were at least 10 years older, so of course now they're dropping like flies. Except Keith Richards, he's already been dead twice and they just run 240V through him and he's good to go.
