Re: Shot Setup

I don't know if my answer will address your exact concern, but when needed to hit big fades or draws, I select the fade or draw feature and then increase the upper and lower sliders to get the bigger fades or draws. I always select the standard draw/fade then adjust from there. I would say it is not...

EDIT: Nevermind, I see the instructions are embedded in Andy's thread-starter! Thanks!

Re: The Masters: Fall 2020 Edition

Yeah, it's Masters Week! Potential for rain, but not too cool or too windy. Fall foliage will be interesting to see. I'm really looking forward to it (and I'll be firing up Links/Augusta more than a few times this week)!

Re: Does Anyone Care About Shorter Tees?

I think Adelade raises a great discussion. I support the "real tees" for a real course but also advocate for fictional tees. But you only get 5 tees, so decisions will need to me made. To devote a mix of tees to real and fictional setups is perfectly ok with me. I defer to creativity in de...

Re: BACK TEES VS NON-BACK TEES

Except for IRL accuracy (and even that is of questionable value) tees that shorten the course too much are of no interest to me, and I realize that I speak only for myself in that regard. In this game we all hit the ball nearly 300 yards consistently, so what's the point of moving up on the tee box?...

Re: Set Wind Direction?

I played around with the wind direction setting and found that it had little impact on the wind direction. No matter how it was set it seemed to usually blow from the south/southeast (towards the n/nw) occasionally flipping around to a different direction.

Re: Whirlpool Golf Course 2020 Finished

This is a very playable course. If you are addicted to birdies then Pro will give you your fix. But (imo) the course shows itself best when played as Champ or Elite. On Champ/Elite you'll likely see the plenty of rough, but there is plenty of room to recover. I played challenging mod/med conditions ...

Re: speed of 3 click meter

The speed of the meter is the same for all skill levels. The accuracy on hitting the snap points (or better stated as the lack of accuracy) becomes more penalizing.
