Re: No Curves...

Those edges should all be set at 0. Very few things on the course will want to be set to 4. About the only thing might be edge where land meets water, and any 3D work like buildings.

Re: Accurate Greens

Yes, drinks will be supplied. I have a drinks cart :cheers1: Actually, the tee boxes are surrounded by clipped luna hedges that are 4' tall. Just thought I would see what a rock wall looked like, though it is only 2.5' tall, 4' seems a bit imposing to me. Probably use the 3d hedges in APCD as they a...

Re: Accurate Greens

I believe there are 3 sources for green books, AJ. Strakaline is the most expensive option, but may be the closest to worldwide. I have Strakaline books for 3 courses, but a GolfLogix book for another. Books from any of the 3 companies would probably make your course better, but if you can spend le...

Re: Accurate Greens

I am considering whether I will buy the strakaline book for the course I'm working on at the moment. It's a Melbourne course, privately owned and it's pretty difficult to even get in the gates let alone play it if you aren't invited and have a lot of money. It's called "Capital", and is ju...

Re: Coomealla, Pros Edition

Re: Coomealla, Pros Edition

I was hoping to upload a version of this over the weekend. Bit of an unexpected turn of events came up... I had organised a round or two with my best mate to iron out any little things that need doing on the course. But on Sat morning his brother got a call to go into hospital for a heart transplant...

Coomealla, Pros Edition

I'm hoping to upload this weekend (beta). This is Coomealla done a little differently. The way I personally wanted to see it. There are a number of changes to the original. Some of those changes are... *More 3d and building work (and a pool which still needs some work with tiles, fence, planars) *Fe...

Re: Winged Foot West - issues - UPDATE

What I did, was renamed my file to old-user.lib or something. That way if something screwed up I could but it back with the original name. But nothing bad happened, the problem was fixed. With me, I had all my textures, but they all got replaced with random ones. Same with seam blends, random textur...

Re: Winged Foot West - issues - UPDATE

I had the exact same thing happen the other day. Every texture and seam blend screwed up. Lez told me to remove my user.lib and let APCD create a new one. That fixed it, so it's the first thing you might want to try?

Re: Where is everyone from?

Ian, probably my fave drop is Stella Atois, I think that might be a Belgium lager? Closely followed by Heineken and Corona. Yes, NZ is not particularly "tropical" until you get above Auckland. But I haven't lived over there for a long time. I'm in Australia, outback, so summers are hot. An...
