Re: APCD Hole Path
To add on what's already been stated , from what I understand hole boundaries are about player statistics. If a fairway for instance is outside the boundary and a driven ball comes to rest at that point the player would not get credit for a fairway in regulation. I would suspect if the boundary is t...

Re: Seminole Golf Club
Thanks guys for the encouragement and support. I enjoy building 3D from terrain as long as it's in moderation.

Re: Seminole Golf Club
Thanks Adelade ! Here's a picture , I hope it shows up well. I don't know if it was a graphics card anomaly on my end but wasn't a fan of it. https://i.postimg.cc/6pXcV0Ns/bluering.jpg The waste areas I'm planning on multiple textures and lower lying 2D grasses I'm looking forward to the challenge w...

Re: Augusta National 2023
That's very interesting way to tackle the problem of bright/dark spots watching your video Dan.
I have always eliminated my shadows by putting a triangle of verts close to the corner.

Re: Augusta National 2023
I did some playtesting in practice mode this morning on 12, poked all around the bridges, hit shots, watched replay in dynamic mode on the full shots. I was in the bunker behind the green (left bunker in view from the green) and hit a shot that went in the water causing a crash. I tried to replicate...

Re: Augusta National 2023
Good Evening Daniel, water should reflect 3D built form terrain objects as they do 2D objects. There's an overflow drain on Augusta National par 3 that I built from the pond terrain that sits near 5 green as you did your bridge. I don't believe building from the terrain would cause a crash even if i...

Re: Augusta National 2023
Would agree with Danny in building your 3D of plot and inserting them on top of the terrain. Anything that finishes below grade you don't have to close the bottoms with faces, with small objects like 4x4 post or something like that I do. Always make certain any created object with an open face finis...
