Barrens Upper Course
I tried Mark Lemond's new course without much luck. His courses have promise but have problems. This time, the cup disappeared on hole 2 in close up view. It then crashed to desktop on hole 3 three times in a row. I made it to hole 4 on the fourth try but crashed again to desk top. It's a beta so ma...

Re: Sheshan Golf Club
Excellent rendition of a real course. Plays wonderful and looks great. Only course from China in Links, I think. Just like your Nine Bridges was a first from Korea.
Great job and thanks for making it.

Re: Pro Tip files
Hi Chuck I do find this interesting. I did try this with Cambrian Ridge but couldn't get it to work, might give it another go. :cheers1: T Just to be clear, you must copy the original cambrian.tip file somewhere and then rename it the exact name as your course file. Then put that file back in your ...

Try Alt-Enter. Might have to do it twice. There is also a box for full screen you can check in the Options, Graphics settings.

Re: Olympic Club - early look
First, congratulations on Harding Park. Excellent redition. I especially like the trees. My favorite is the tree just right of the 17th tee. Good luck on Olympic. I went to the US Open there a few years ago that Webb Simpson won. It's a very steep slope from the clubhouse down to the water. About wo...

Re: Harding Park 1st look - all new 2Ds...uploaded
In places ..the trees look great...I admire the inventive method of sand spray around the bunkers...only played 2 holes...when I seen how bad the trees looked close up on the 2nd hole at tee off(very jarring)....its a dang pity...that theres no way of creating a high res tree(bark) texture....immer...

Pro Tip files
There's probably little to no interest in this topic but I think I'll bring it up anyway. The Pro Tip files are the audio file associated with lots of Microsoft courses. In Links 2003, if there is a tip file a button will light up on the hole preview screen and you can get tips on the hole you are o...

Re: Some courses need planting
Sage, I've only had time to play a round on Oak Quarry so far. Unbelievable, just fabulous rendition of a unique course. So good. You make excellent hole previews but since there were none, I made up some if you're interested.

Re: Ryder Cup
Yeah, me too. There is a course by John Brooks here at Links Corner called Marco Simone but it doesn't seem to be the same course that they're playing in the Ryder Cub. At least the scorecards are not the same. Maybe someone can clear that up. And on another note, someone in a practice round yesterd...

Re: Meanwhile, 10 years later.....
This course looks gorgeous. It could easily be Sand Hills or Dismal River courses in the sand hill region of Nebraska. All it needs is a windmill as a homage. Very much looking forward to playing it.
