Re: Fixing Concrete Trees
It's interesting to see what people say regarding objects getting corrupted. I did have something happen to my previous install of APCD, whrere shrubs were showing as houses when viewed from a distance, but they returned to being shrubs as you got closer. Not sure how that happened. But think I have...

Re: The Mesh. Triangles or Squares?
That's an interesting way to do it Derrick, and not one I had thought of. I will give it a try with tees first, as they are usually all the same size and shape. Get the hang of it before trying fairways and greens. Thanks for the tip!

Re: Fixing Concrete Trees
I found the same thing, when I forgot to check the settings after importing some grasses. They were all concrete, and had heaps of them in one big plot. So what did was selected ONE of them using the perspective view, then looked at the properties. I checked the box for "all pass through" ...

Re: The Mesh. Triangles or Squares?
I never really considered that, using overlays is a bit too advanced for me at the moment. Plenty more practice needed before I atempt that. What I have been doing with the course I am working on (and no, I have never completed a full course yet) is using a combination of Google Earth, and the cours...

The Mesh. Triangles or Squares?
I don't think I have seen anyone using square mesh in the course designs. Sure some people must have, but I haven't come across one yet. Is there any reason not to use squares? I decided to try it out, and having been working on a design of my local course using squares over the past few days. I hav...

Re: 300 new trees
I would like to say thanks as well. they are beautifully done, or at least the first set I have opened is. Im sure the rest will be as well, much nicer than most of the trees I already have!

Re: Hello from Aussie
I have watched every single one of those videos, multiple times. They are fantastic help, I'm just so grateful to him for taking the time to put them together! Yes, there is one that touches on using the Gizmo, but I can't seem to get the info I need from that. In my situation, I have a cart track a...

Re: Hello from Aussie
Thanks Pete. Yes, we had a rough summer alright. Temps were nudging or even over 50c some days, and the fires were just terrible. Lucky we not in the areas of the worst ones, though we could smell the smoke some days. I remember when I first started using APCD. The Links2003 had just come out and I ...

Hello from Aussie
Thought I would pop in and say, introduce myself. I have just started back with playing around on APCD, after experimenting with it waaay back when it first came out. I had forgotten how addictive it was... as well as how difficult it was to learn how to use it, and how annoying it was when the prog...
