Re: Not a CRZ

Yes, I had something similar happen to me on my Coomealla course. I was doing something pretty innocuous like moving a tree or something, then APCD locked up and crashed. I got that not a crz message and file size had increased dramatically. Maybe it doubled up on 2d ojects or something I don't know...

You will find that (and a lot of other stuff) in the download forum. Here is a link to the one mentioned. https://linkscorner.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=652

Re: My return to Links 2003....... maybe

Lez. I just wanted to say thank you very much for your series of videos on using APCD. I started back recently with using it after 15 year layoff, and had forgotten just how involved it was. Your videos helped me immensely. Many times I considered leaving a thank you message in the comments, but it ...

Re: Best early course you go back to

I still enjoy the old original courses that came with the CD's. Even if they lack seam blends and aren't as polished as modern designs. Skeleton Coast, Kapalua Village, Banff, etc. I don't mind the lower resolution, as it makes for quick loading when playing an online match. I would rather have a li...

Re: Blending bunkers

bunkerlip2.jpg That's great AJ, and what I'm going to do. Did you use the default planar for the dirt, or did you make one that is vertical and looks best in the direction of play? I only did the planar so I could scale the size of the dirt grains. If I was going to be doing tall lips, or have them...

Re: Blending bunkers

Stephen, I did try that combined texture method initially, because I thought it sounded like an easy way to get it done, as well as avoiding two seams. But like you, I found that there was a lot of fiddling around to get it looking right, as well as the fact that you don't have as much control over ...

Re: Top Cam

It will change if you grab the side arrows to resize, and make it less tall and wider. Though having used that a few times I have found it to be far less user friendly or useful than vertical.

Re: Where can I find the Otsego golf course.

I didn't think I had this one (after checking the course folder) so I DL'd it from your dropbox, put it in the course folder, and fired up Links. Well up came two courses with the same name, and I had played it at least once some time in the distant past. I looked in the folder again and found &quo...

Re: Lambton Golf and Country Club

Stephen, this might be unrelated, but worth trying. I noticed you have your frame rate showing. I seem to recall when I tried using that, I got the occasional odd display glitch. Couldn't see any benefit to having it displaying anyway so I turned it off. Perhaps try disabling it and see what happens...

If anyone want the course, I have put it on Dropbox. Along with the .sha file.
