Re: windows 10
Sage, I am now into 8 days and Windows 10 has not updated. Looks like my posted method will kill updating until you wish to apply them yourself.

Re: windows 10
Ok Sage, forced updates are a pain. I haven't had Win 10 long enough to really understand it's workings, that'll take much time. I've used the method outlined below to stop updates. I'm hoping this will work permanently. It's been 6 days and it's worked. Next couple of days will be the real test as ...

Re: windows 10
Really? Me too! Such a small world that here we are, 2 people on a not too busy forum and yet we both share the identical opinion! WOW!
It couldn't possibly be that Win 10 is just no good and there are others like us???

Re: Newer Nvidia cards
It appears new cards work great with Links 2003. Now, we only have 2 or 3 members who have made comment who own newer cards so it's not exactly etched in stone these results will apply for everyone but it certainly appears very promising. I myself just bought a 1660Ti card and mine works great too. ...

If everything is working and the only issue is 800x600 resolution check page 1, post 2 for "how" and page 2, post 3 for "to what"

Re: Links for Windows 10
Don't install Links into Program Files
Install game
Install v1.07 patch
That's all that should be needed to get it to run.
If it doesn't work or work perfectly, tell us exactly what is happening.

Re: What are your system specs?
I guess these will be the lowest specs posted. Nope. I have my XP specs below. The machine is even too old for Speccy to work so have to just text the info! haha I'm sure others are running old machines but haven't posted unfortunately. Below is the PC I will use for Links 2000 or older Links versi...

Re: WINDOWS 7
I just hope MS doesn't pull the same crap with Win7 as they did with XP, such as disabling the activation function. Plus, if an upgrade in hardware is detected, it flags your OS as not being "genuine" and then deactivates it. I mentioned this in another thread recently. That's the exact s...
