Re: Pasatiempo GC

I'm so glad you're doing Pasatiempo. It's probably my favorite course that I've ever played. The bunkering is fantastic and sometimes deceptive. They really make you think twice about which club to use. It's a very strategic course. Can't wait to tackle this beauty on Links.

Re: The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort

I've played the Gary Player course at Mission Hills years ago and remember it being a lot of fun to play. Unfortunately I haven't played any of the other courses at Mission Hills, but was supposed to go to the ANA Inspiration this past week until Covid put an end to spectators attending once again. ...

One of the all time greats in any sport. A lot of the newer commentators could learn from him.

Re: The Masters: Fall 2020 Edition

John Rahm - Now this is how it's done - https://www.tsn.ca/must-see/video/must-see-rahm-skips-in-an-ace-at-augusta~2073680 That's impressive, but you know what would really be even more impressive? Rahm comes to the 16th tee in the final round tied for the lead and he tries that shot again. Now THA...

Re: The Masters: Fall 2020 Edition

Looks like rain and possible lightning every single day from now through ... of course ... Sunday. Then it's clearing from Monday onward. I wouldn't be surprised if the tournament does not get finished this weekend.

Re: What I'm up to

Lez, you've done great work updating Crouching Beast. If you're not already familiar with it another very similar course by the same designer that you might think about updating sometime is Wyntoon. It's the sister course to Crouching Beast, and in my opinion as good or better. I think it would bene...

Re: Do people only want to see and play real courses?

I prefer playing fictional courses, although I like both types. Fictional courses tend to present more of a challenge, and while some of them are "tricked up", I feel that most of them aren't. As for real courses, there are many examples of them which have been lovingly re-created and look...

Crouching Beast is certainly lot of fun to play, and if you like that one you'll also enjoy Wyntoon if you haven't played it already. Same designer and a very similar course to Crouching, but in my opinion perhaps even better.

Re: Crouching Beast

Hi Lez, I downloaded and played a round on your updated version of Crouching. Well done mate! Thank you so much for making a great course even better. I shot a somewhat dismal 2 over par, but...managed to ace the 3rd hole! Thank you again for your efforts Lez.
