Re: POLL: Are you a player or designer?

I think there should be another category - Attempting to be a Designer... I have been 'trying' to design my old course Mountain Ash on Links for the last 15 years and with the help of all the tutorials out there have made a real effort during Lockdown in the UK. By the end of this year I reckon I wi...

Re: What an achievement! 50 Courses released this year

Same as everyone else commenting. Thank you so much to the designers, administrators and my fellow Links players. This game has been very important to me over the last 20 years - especially now in this terrible time! I am even making progress designing my own course. May actually get it finished due...

Re: Links messed up by the Internet!

It IS a 22" screen. And I changed the Connection links as suggested by Andy too. So all good. As usual it was well worthwhile coming on this site for help! Thanks again guys!

Re: Links messed up by the Internet!

Thanks for the replies guys. I tried every one of the potential settings and 12 seems to have sorted it out. I have absolutely no idea what happened to my p/c though. And I agree that the internet connection couldn't logically have screwed up Links but can't see anything else that could have caused ...

Links messed up by the Internet!

My internet provider kept crashing out today, so I decided to go onto Links. When I tried to log on, I got as far as the screen before Sergio pops up with the main selections and got a message that Links was trying to contact the internet - which wasn't working at the time. I can't remember the exac...

Re: Chicago Golf Club-Beta-V1.2 BETA

Loved the course. Very relaxing and as ever, beautifully produced. Ny only comment other than that is that I found the sound script a bit quiet - but I AM getting a bit deaf (and blind)... Thank you very much!

Re: [Req.] List of now-free APCD Pay courses?

Thank you so much for these. I had no idea there were so many Pay to Play courses available now. I used to buy the odd one off Mick's site back in the day, so getting access to a wodge more here is terrific. Thanks again to all the wonderful designers over the years. Due to the Lockdown in the UK I ...

Re: 1st albatross

Well done. I have played Links 2001/2003 pretty much since they started and have had a lot of 1's and a few albatrosses over the years, but since playing with Windows 10 hadn't had a hole in 1 for years and then had 2 in 2 days last week. Mind you, I am playing a lot more now due to the lock down.Pr...

Re: 2003 Links Disc 3 Installation

I haven't been on here for a while - health issues - but to continue using Links 2003 a couple of years ago I had a desktop p/c built running Windows 10 which wasn't overly expensive, so I would recommend that. But there were guidelines on the old forum which I can't access any longer specifying the...
