Re: Locking a course

I have a firm opinion on this but think I'll stay out of it.

Re: Whirlpool Golf Course 2020 Finished

This was one of my keepers back in the Links 2001 days. I think it's great to have 2001 courses brought up to 2003 standards without changing the original designs. I personally would not like to see layouts that I enjoyed in the past changed be they accurate or not. Adding seam blends, nicer bunker ...

Re: [Req.] List of now-free APCD Pay courses?

Ah well, I've collected about 400 Links 2K3 courses since I came back and find I prefer it still to any of the latest other PC offerings including TGC 2019. Need to get through playing about 45 more to round it out. The really high end Links 2003 courses are great in both visuals and playability. I...

Re: [Req.] List of now-free APCD Pay courses?

I wasn't clear on the schism and whether it was acrimonious at the time (2016?) since I got back into Links 2K3 in 2017. Presumably the former forums had the backstory. Is there an unemotional recap for the way it played out? :) It is a half finished game, big promises, delivered on nothing. Develo...

Re: Replay on Atlantic Point?

Well...found what fixes it and why others don't have the issue. I play Links 2003 on a 19 inch 1280x1024 monitor. Decided to try the course on my widescreen monitor and the bar is gone. Really odd especially as 1280x1024 is Links 2003 native resolution. Too bad the course is locked and there is no w...

Re: Replay on Atlantic Point?

Ok, thanks everyone. That's what I thought, must be my card or drivers most likely. No major issue, it's only on this course for some reason and I can still view any great shots I may make. Have to make one first anyhow! I'm running FXAA. I may try turning that off just for the heck of it to...

Replay on Atlantic Point?

Can anyone try this and see if it's the same for them? I have found on Atlantic Point if I watch a replay using any reverse view I get a black bar. Forward and dynamic views are fine. Never seen this happen before. Only happens on Atlantic Point that I know of. Don't think it happened on my past PC'...

Re: Links on Windows 7 Ultimate x64?

Win 7 64 bit is great. Just make sure whatever CPU and motherboard you buy has Win 7 support. GPU's shouldn't be a problem. The last Intel supported CPU's were Gen 6. Motherboards vary for Win 7 support. Some are Win 10 only now, some still support Win 7. It's getting harder to build a decent Win 7 ...

Re: Bad Graphics

Screen resolution is now listed as 1920 x 1080 32 bit, within the Links Graphics options Previously that wasn't even a choice: only 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1280 x 1024 or 1280 x 720 Don't worry I'm not touching anything Thanks again BL That’s good, means everything is working and displaying correctl...
