Re: Australian courses
Great to see you around Colin! Awesome work on Royal Sydney, can't wait to see it! A Tara Iti DEM import is a go! I managed to get the 1 meter lidar dem files tonight. I'll have a look at what will be involved in getting it into the APCD. Unfortunate that there is a hole in the high quality DEM's av...

Re: SHAUGHNESSY FOR APCDers
I couldn't find a DEM for Shaughnessy on the BC Lidar website but I did get the Lidar Point Cloud files for the course area. I have done a few DEM imports by generating the DEM from the point cloud data then getting the DEM into APCD. What are your APCD skills like Jimbo? Can you add verts, map text...

Re: In game crash
Glad that the suggestion worked for you Sage!
St. Andrews Golf Club looked like it had a lot of character when I did the DEM import. Looking forward to seeing it completed!

Re: In game crash
Is that course from a DEM? I don't recognize it but looks fun!
If it is from a DEM it likely has too many verts in the reflective water. The water area internal verts need to be substantially simplified and flattened. I ran into a likely similar issue with Augusta.

Re: LACC
The USGA US Open twitter feed has the pin positions. I downloaded them if you want a copy. That first tee on the practice green with the flowers in front just doesn't look right to me. I would have expected the USGA to at least move the flowers for the week but maybe they didn't have permission. :la...

Re: LACC
Try this for hole 11: Define the hole to be about 260-270 yards. "center of tee" will be short of the desired back tee but "center of green" should be placed properly to get the proper scorecard yardage. Plant the tees and pin positions. This all needs to be done in a single APCD...

Re: Wasteland Texture...
Texture looks great Danny! It is soooo difficult to get a texture that tiles decently and both of your textures look great! I would add in some more brown to the colour but that depends on what you will be 2D planting on the texture. Off topic but I will ask it here, are you working on Shadow Creek ...
