Re: Monument Golf Club
Here's sort of an oddity I said create a new terrain type. If I select Category "Fairway" and save it, it stays Fairway when I open it back up for edit. I go do the seam blend work in "Edit Material" and when I come back, it's still Category "Fairway". If I create a new...

Re: Monument Golf Club
Well, I did new seam blends for 3 of them and when I tested the boingy, boingy was gone. I've done more than a few courses and the ball is going to react the way the Category says it will. I've run into more than just Monument golf club doing this with similar results. When I look up Fringe (M-Fring...

Monument Golf Club
Does anyone have contact with Matthew Rose, designer of the subject golf club? I have a recommendation. He has used the category Earth for the every seam blend to include Rough, Fairway, Approach Blend, Fringe Blend and the Green Blend. When an approached hits any of these seam blends, the ball boun...

Re: Nine Bridges Course at Jeju Island
Really want to use this for next year's C J Cup on the PLSA at lspn.net.
Sat photo makes it look real interesting.

Cottonwood Hills, Hutchinson, KS
I'm developing a REAL APCD course that likely will not exist when complete. Believe it or not for a 40,000 population town like Hutchinson, KS, it's a Nick Faldo design. Construction started in 2006 and it was playable in 2008. It was supposed to be a combination of golf course and housing complex.....

Re: Winged Foot West - US Open 2020
I have used that method for 15 years now, that method did not help in this case. That method helps if you get a corrupt file, then you can turn to a back up. I save on a 4 course rotation, going through each name every time I open and work on a course, AND use a different course when opening in Lin...

Re: Winged Foot West - US Open 2020
Clearly a case of closing the barn door after the horses have escaped, but I learned early on to save files often and sequentially (ex: course-1.crz, course-2.crz, course-3.crz, etc.). I usually click on "Save" then click on "Save as..." (ex: course.crz, then course-<seq#>.crz). ...

Re: Winged Foot West - US Open 2020
For you guys who don't know me, I'm Doug Hurst and "GoesForIt" on lspn. For the last year, I've been helping Mark with the PLSA over there... the tour that follows as closely as possible the Pro Tour. One reason I did this is because the schedule got off-track and many of the pin positions...
