Re: What are your system specs?
My XP machine is dieing a slow death.. :wallbash: That's a good XP machine! Hopefully it lasts you a little longer. Any others here running XP? Win 98, XP and 7 were all great operating systems. I'm hoping to get forever out of my XP PC. Very enjoyable playing an issue free Links 2000 on ...

Re: Windows 7 and 10
The biggest issue is hardware. Manufacturers are simply giving no option but to force you to use Win 10. A new PC in most cases just won't work properly running Win 7. If I could run Win 7 on my new PC I certainly would. If you are keeping an old PC, your options are completely open to run both OS's...

Re: What are your system specs?
I updated my old PC to Windows XP SP3 and now Speccy works. I've fired up Links 2000 and interestingly, found the divot animation works fluently. You really see the divot fly through the air nicely, looks cool. The animation didn't work like this using Win 7. I should also have no issues with the an...

Re: APCD keeps on giving
On the old forum I uploaded APCD. Did you download it? The version I uploaded has no issues. If it does not run perfectly, you can look at your system because there is nothing wrong with the APCD version. If the APCD version works, then you'll know something went wrong with your APCD installation. ...

Re: update
The black sky problem has come up many times I'm sure on the old forum. I can't remember any details. Armand would be a good chance for an anwser but it doesn't look like he has yet registered on this new forum. Only thing I can quickly think to check is to make certain 32bit color is enabled. I'd a...

Re: Links for Windows 10
Win 10 can cause completely different issues for different hardware. It can also cause issues that were never there before with same software on same hardware. eg You installed Links 3 years ago and it worked perfectly. You re-installed today and suddenly have issues. This can happen because Win 10 ...

Re: Newer Nvidia cards
Stephen, that's great news. It does appear a modern card means jaggies gone. FXAA is not the ideal AA method but it does the job well enough.
