Re: Golden Bear's Den website gone

Thanks very much for posting this update. Hopefully it can find a new home. I still play GBC sometimes because it still has a few courses I love which haven't been replicated in links, two of which were Pasatiempo and Sherwood. Thanks to all the designers who completed those awesome Links versions l...

Re: Seminole GC

Thanks for the great response Adelaide, that helps to clarify things. My post was not intended to discourage anyone from designing. I actually am hoping that this conversation will help to encourage anyone who is struggling or losing momentum to reach out to the community rather than let their proje...

Re: Seminole GC

Whether someone has designed or not is not the issue here, and I agree with Clint, based on my 20+ years of following and playing Links, it is unlikely this course will ever be released unless someone else is able to pick it up somehow. There are many people who do not design but don't go around mak...

Re: Silvertip

This was a beautiful and really fun course to play, thanks so much for sharing with us. One of the things I really liked was how much the pano reminds me of the area. Here is a photo I took when driving through Canmore back in December.

Re: Victoria National Golf Club

HI Sage, Sorry I must have been confused about Hamilton. A couple of days ago I played Wayne County what an amazing course. Some of the holes look like paintings. Last year I played a few of your earlier designs and it is incredible to see how far you have come in your work. Thanks for sharing this ...

Re: Victoria National Golf Club

HI Sage,

Is there any chance that you all might consider finishing the version of Royal Hamilton you had started? The designer of the other version seems to have disappeared from the community. Still appreciate the beautiful work that all of you put into St. George's.

Regards, ColinC

I love Enzesfeld, it's one of my favorite all time courses. Incredibly challenging, you have to think your way through the course.

Re: Banff Springs In Winter

I agree Banff and Jasper are incredibly beautiful at all times of year and the drive between Jasper and Hinton has some of the most spectacular ranges. I haven't seen the Jasper course but I have read about it, sounds amazing! Good luck with your designs, I have struggled with APCD on and off for 20...

Banff Springs In Winter

I was recently travelling in Alberta and and was able to spend an evening up in Banff. As a Linkster with an afternoon off, do I check out the beautiful ski village, stunning Lake Louise or the world class ski resorts? Of course not, I went to check out the golf course! The Banff Springs Hotel is cl...

Re: St. George Golf and CC, Toronto

Wow this is an incredible course with a lot of variation in challenges and big elevation changes, especially for an urban course The rendition is beautuful between the planting with lots of variation in the trees and flowers and colour, along with the houses and bridges. Thanks very much to all of y...
