Favourite Courses of 2021
If counting all released versions (that havent been completely removed from the official list) there were 78 courses released during 2021, thank you everyone who contributed :cheers1: That is less than the strong year of 2020 - not unexpected - but still more than 2019. Of course raw quantity isnt w...

Re: Backspin
In my experience, and on Champ+Classic at least, the biggest factors for backspin, are: -Green firmness setting, like guitarget2019 mentioned. Soft or Soft(Challenging) will almost always generate minor to extreme backspin. Moderate or Moderate(challenging) will generate backspin in some situations,...

Re: Somewhere in the North West England coast...
Love to hear that you're working this much with APCD, had no idea you were at all :clapping: Looks great. Thought I recognized the textures from Lytham, if you want any tips on where to find available textures or so, feel free to pm me about what type you're looking for (but I'd love to see what you...

Re: Cape Kidnappers
Hm, could be AJ then perhaps? Not 100% sure but I think he mentioned he was from NZ or had some connection to it at least? Perhaps he did consider making it, but I know he worked/has been working on other courses - viewtopic.php?p=7595#p7595

Re: Austin CC 2022 in Devlopment
With a "busy" Christmas, I havent been able to sit down with it much since that first day, just half an hour here or there, but I still got all the elevation marking done, and now things have calmed down so I might be able to pick up the pace. First picture below is the state of the course...

Re: Chambers Bay Update - Beta Available Here
I've had no beta testers get back to me (except for the one comment above about the ocean texture and boats) so Im bumping this one last time - beta window ends Jan 2nd. I was prepared that there might be no beta testers and for this course Im completely fine with that (which is why I went with this...

Re: Cape Kidnappers
Are you sure someone actually started working on it? I only remember it being talked about as a course that would be nice to play.

Re: Courses with the Toughest Greens
With the course/club being so renowned, and I think renowned for having fast greens, yeah I could see that being the case. I didnt look at satellite images for this course. Interesting backstory  I can definitely understand wanting to make a version of your own when having a real history li...

Re: Courses with the Toughest Greens
The texture's he used in his version of Oakmont are very dull, if you had the opportunity to see just how vibrant and green the course really is you would appreciate my reason for wanting to re-do the course. Well, the vibrance and green-ness depends on the weather and season, Im sure. Anyhow, whil...

Re: Courses with the Toughest Greens
I actually like the colours of Oakmont (Scott Lewin's 2010 beta that is). I can see what youre saying, and I certainly wouldnt want all courses to have those colours, but I quite like them as they are. Even if the version suffers a little bit from some improper texture properties, I find it really w...
