Re: Monument Golf Club

This is from the readme on the download page: CHANGES FROM BETA VERSION: - Some texture properties have changed, particular the bunker lip (which one person said was acting as a hazard), wash, and a few blends. In play testing it was noted some of the grass textures had a hard bouncing quality to th...

Re: ONLINE TOUR

Well folks I just lost my online virginity...but the pressure of playing online is tenable! I guess my next task will be to master APCD. That's going to take longer... Now activated for the European Tour. 2 rounds available to play, plus 3 handicap setter events of 4 rounds each to allow you to get...

Re: tourneys

Both the World and European Tours have handicapped events. The main events are unhandicapped on the European, but they are split into levels. To play the handicap events on both tours you have to play 12 rounds to obtain your handicap. There are specific events to help do this. Hope this helps :thum...

If you play mod 1.07 or mixed conditions, the European or World Tours are for you.

Re: Fictional Coastal Links

If the fairways are pretty tight and there is no playable rough, I don't believe the course will get much play. Doesn't make for an enjoyable round. A very valid point. May aim for 5 or so yards of playable. Will also be making sure it's the heavy rough texture that is affecting the shot and not th...

Re: Fictional Coastal Links

As someone who has played Powerstroke almost as long as I've played Links, I too prefer some playable rough around the holes

Re: Fictional Coastal Links

Looking forward to it  Will it be your first true linksland course? Yes Adelade, I tend to prefer Heathland courses. I've got quite a few textures to choose from thanks to Lez Marwick and McCoist. I suspect i will end up using McCoist's that he used on East & West Coast Links. I'm goin...

Fictional Coastal Links

Going to do a fictional Links course. It's a Par 72 of just under 7000 yards at the early layout stage, but may change a little as I refine the layout. Aiming for lots of pot bunkers and rolling fairways. The front 9 and the 10th are to the left of the access road, with the rest of the holes to the ...
