Yeah try historical imagery of the area, perhaps you can find a better image from 1 or 2 years ago or so. You can only do this in the downloaded version of Google Earth (which is free).

Has anyone here gotten the demo to work? The fixes are all made for the full game, which was updated several times to a current 1.07 version. I dont know but it is possible that they fail because the demo is too old?

I dont really know much about the demo, but try compatibility mode for Win 7 (right click LinksMMIII.exe > properties). If that fails, please provide us with more info about your system.

Hmm I didnt need to do that though when I planted people on 3D object galleries, I just raised them up on the Z axis and then they stayed there even though there were no terrain faces.
