Re: Links goes buggy
HI Adelade, it's an older Dell. I have run the game successfully on it since windows XP and 7. It wasn't until windows 10 that I started losing the sky and thinking it must be a resolution issue. I started changing them and at that point the mouse would erase what prompts I was trying to click on. ...

Re: Nvidia Game Ready vs Studio Drivers
"Game Ready"' and "Studio" drivers are what Nvidia calls their vidio drivers. They are essentially the same drivers. The "game ready" drivers are released faster with less testing (from Nvidia's website) in order to keep up with game releases. The "studio" dri...

Nvidia Game Ready vs Studio Drivers
In opening, let me state that Links is the ONLY game that I play. Has anyone ever used the Studio drivers as opposed to the Game Ready drivers? Just curious. From what I gather, the studio driver gets tested more thoroughly than the game ready before release. There may be a difference in release ver...

Re: SUPER SUNDAY
Doesn't affect Phil, since he is no longer eligible for PGA sanctioned events.JimEvers37 wrote: ↑January 24th, 2024, 4:41 am the final round of the Waste Management Open starts a few hours earlier on Sunday so that the golfers (like Phil) can get their bets in before the game starts.

Re: Course Testing
What conditions (wind, firmness, speed) do you use to test these courses? How do you select the pins for each round? How does the AI player select where to drop? Real testers have options. If I continue to rinse and repeat from the same drop, I'm thinking that that's not an issue with the course. :s...

Re: Course Testing
GoBucks, I think it could be a combo of things, but all of them are signs of an issue. A bad pin placement could ruin a hole/course as much as a bug could. I think anytime AI golfers that average par to 5 under par are getting +8 on a single hole it's a sign that something needs looked at. I can te...

Re: Course Testing
As a player (not a designer) my question would be is the problem the inflated score, or is there an issue with the course that led to that score? is it a pin that may be questionable for the conditions. If I were a designer, this is just one of the types of questions I'd ask. And, please, don't thin...
