Lighthouse Isle
Wanted to say thanks to Sage for this course, I think it is very well done. I don't play much Links anymore, maybe a handful of rounds a year. But I still check out Links Corner regularly and download new courses that look interesting. Sometimes I play a round right away, sometimes not. The two scre...
Re: The Lido
I've read that the Lido will have a private membership, but there will be some public tee times made available to guests of the Sand Valley resort. Really cool project. A guy named Brian Zager played a key role in converting the digital model of the golf course made in The Golf Club into a format th...

I also seem to recall that courses that have had the non-reg box ticked also do not compile or record statistics during a normal round. So you get to the end of a normal round and the stats and/or scorecard look different than usual. Going off of memory from a long time ago... But also definitely re...

Re: Pasatiempo GC
Pasatiempo is currently hosting the Western Intercollegiate tournament. Will be broadcast on Golf Channel live in the evenings - Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. (it's on as I type this!) Great opportunity to see how special this course is! http://www.westernintercollegiate.golf/tournament/details/#s...

Re: My return to Links 2003....... maybe
Hi Lez, welcome back - good to see you here again! It's clear the loss of your brother affected you deeply - understandably so - but I'm glad that returning to Links might give you some comfort and enjoyment again. The Links and APCD community will be happy to have you around, and having you contrib...

First time for everything! I guess never say never when it comes to APCD & Links...Still Linksing wrote: ↑June 28th, 2020, 12:38 amHere's someone!jwgriffingca wrote: ↑June 12th, 2020, 11:37 pmI don't recall Lez ever finding a root cause, and I don't recall anyone ever complaining about this on a finished course in normal play.

Just played this course IRL a few weeks ago. Huge Langford & Moreau fan. Looking forward to checking out your APCD rendition.

Re: Red Sky
I've had this happen with the course I have worked on, and I know that Lez Marwick also observed the issue - he called it a "pink mess." In my experience it occurs exclusively when in practice mode (never in normal play mode) and especially after moving the ball around to various spots to ...

Re: Courses Lost & Found
Would hope if someone knows Jeff Howes, he might still have these on his HD. I only took a brief initial look at the site so far, but I may consider making an attempt to seek contact and asking about these courses some day (if they actually are full Links courses) if no one else does it. If someone...
