Perfect example - play the 7th hole at Augusta with the softest greens. If you don't play the ball to come down past the hole in the fairway, it will rarely stay on the green.

Set your greens to slow, and you'll see some serious back spin, especially from your wedges.

Just played 18 holes on The Shrew. No problems. Course is 58,313 in size and dated 4-7-2007.

Love this course. Have replayed the 2020 US Amateur several times. The only thing missing is the fog!
