Am I right in thinking that once you have cut the tree out and saved it as an alpha channel TGA in Photoshop and then reopen the image within Photoshop it will be seen as having a white background in Photoshop.

If there are any halo's in photoshop how can I minimise them please

what format ie jpg, png etc do the trees need to be for apcd and what size should the image be
