Re: APCD really annoyed me last night!

Be aware that loading a different course into APCD will have the same effect of screwing up texture properties if it adds new textures to your user.lib. The user.lib needs to match the library saved with the course. Always move your user.lib out of the APCD folder before loading anything different i...

Re: APCD really annoyed me last night!

Try moving your user.lib out of the APCD folder and then load your course. This should generate a new user library and hopefully will restore everything to how it should be, providing that you use a course saved before the problem happened.

Re: Golfer Confidence Levels

Andrew Jones definitely added anti-cheat to Perfect Golf so there is every chance that it is also present in the 1.07 mod. I know my brother suffered from this on one of these games - I just can't remember which, but he had a low sensitive mouse that was easy to swing very straight on RTS and if you...

Re: Anyone Interested In Checking My Course?

Under Terrain/face/select you need to select the 'all of type' icon (the 4 red circles) and click on a face that has the overhead texture in. Once the overhead texture faces are all highlighted you need to choose a texture to change the overhead to (usually rough) and apply the texture. This will re...

Re: Golfer Confidence Levels

I was pretty much going to post what Adelade already has. Belief is a major key to success, which is why all professional sportsmen have 'mind' coaches as well as physical ones. If your brain thinks that the change you make may benefit you then you will be more relaxed and possibly better focussed a...

Re: Crouching Beast

Comparing to the screenshots of the old versions it seems like you've updated it without changing the aesthetic, which I am a BIG fan of  Great update When updating other people's courses I try for the most part to create new textures as close to the original as I can, to keep to the desig...

Try loading them into Paint and re-saving them, as I suggested.

Re: What I'm up to

Hey Lez...is Firestone North a course that could possibly get updated at some point? Real courses are less likely to be updated by me because they don't leave me the same freedom to change the things that I don't like. Also, Links players are far more demanding of real courses and simply ...

Make sure you're saving them as .jpg and not .jpeg. Also, if you're using a newer version of Photoshop, try loading the saved jpg's into Microsoft Paint and re-saving them.

Re: What I'm up to

Now that Crouching Beast is finished and The Bluffs at Ocean Point is well under way, I've chosen the next course to update - Country Club North. Probably not a particularly interesting or challenging course for players, but I like the planting on this one, so I'm doing it anyway!
