Re: Kauri Cliffs v2 - Lost Course

Sound volumes can vary from PC to PC, but I just balance the course sounds with the normal game sounds and if they work together they should be fine whatever the individual's settings may be.

Re: What I'm up to

:kicking: :kicking: :kicking: :kicking: :kicking: If you are looking for another upgrade project Lez, one to consider might be Zanzibar GC  Took a look at Zanzibar today and its definitely worthy of an update. It looks like a really nice course. I also checked it out in APCD though and it'...

Re: What I'm up to

The Bluffs at Ocean Point HD is now finished and uploaded to Links Corner. :cheers1:
Tested by my trusty Scottish A.I. tester McBevvy, who hacked his way through countless rounds and hopefully found all the bugs!
He's definitely to blame if any were missed!!!

Re: Wonderful Golf Courses

I always try to keep my courses under 100mb. I think the only one that crept just over this was Battley Peak. Unfortunately courses I update can end up well over 100mb in size though, because every HD texture takes up 3mb and the original designer of a course may have used a lot of different texture...

Re: What I'm up to

Just a quick update: The Bluffs at Ocean Point is coming along nicely. I've put in a fair amount of work on it this last week and there's not too much left to do now. I've just finished the hole previews, which are always a bit of a chore, and most of the work left involves the rocks on the course a...

Re: Win 11 Poly Ani Problem

If you used an ani editor and didn't run as administrator or turn off UAC in Windows then some of your files may have been redirected to Windows Virtual Store, which would explain why you couldn't find them.

Re: Unable to open course after planting crash

Hey Lez, Do you have any advice on crashes due to edge manipulation.........????? Sage..... A lot of different bugs in APCD that cause crashes and corruption of the course file are caused by the same thing... a memory leak, and edge turning is one of them. If you keep turning edges, sooner ...

Re: Unable to open course after planting crash

While working on Victoria National 15 minutes ago the file was corrupted while I was modifying a seam blend. I think APCD was making a automatic save when the save didn't end. After quitting the file size had doubled (55222 to 110391). Fortunately I am still on automatic backup of 15 minutes (plus ...

I should have watched a tutorial video!

I normally don't lose more than half an hours work because I make sure that I save regularly so that if I suffer any crashes I don't have to redo too much. In fact, back when I was using APCD regularly I don't think I had any crashes on my last 4 or 5 courses at all! Updating other people's courses ...

Re: What I'm up to

I can't thank enough the guy who made all these APCD tutorial videos. :clapping:

After loading APCD again I couldn't even remember how to add a vert!!
