Re: Austin Country Club

Sorry, forgot, there aren't really any changes from the 2018 version - I just re-jigged this so that people could play along.

Cheers

Re: Austin Country Club

Hi Adelade As far as I can tell from the website (and maybe I'm wrong), the Members usually play it as per my original version, and it's only played the other way round for the Matchplay. No problem in updating - all my "impressions" are unlocked, so feel free. From what Jimbo says (he's p...

Re: SAHALEE

Thanks everyone! Loads of amendments to be made on Final. But UK lockdown as regards playing golf ends Sunday, so from Monday onwards it's back to a real golf course!

Cheers

Re: SAHALEE

The courses at Sahalee are played:- (1) South / North (Championship) (2) North / East (3) East / South So that means that you can't just copy one set of nine holes from one course to another because the front nine on one course is always the same as the back nine on another, so the hole numbers and ...

Re: SAHALEE

Hi Jimbo - Just to say that I usually cut out those bits of my links grid that don't contain golf holes - no point in planting these because you just aren't going to go there or play golf there. It also reduces file size considerably and speeds up loading.

Re: SAHALEE

Thanks for replies folks! Yes, the Clubhouse is only 2D and from a very limited image - hence it's blurry. I really need a hi-spec mage. I've been very kind on the beta, and made all the trees "pass through" so you can get to play the Course without too much frustration - this won't happen...

Re: Claymore Golf Club

Thanks Ron - I must have done this Course ages ago - this was probably an old Links design before the advent of seam blending. All I did was to download the old APCD file, open it, re-name it (I used to have a place in a Claymore Street), save it as an APCD 2003 file, blend all the seams, re-plant i...

Hi Guys

Thanks for comments - will try to take them all into account for final. Still waiting for Jimbo's nit-pick!

Re: Royal St George's Beta

Cheers and thanks

Have made some changes from the old version:-

1. Replaced rough drawings of Clubhouse and Princes Lodges with 2D camera shots
2. Sand to left of 5th hole
3. 2 bunkers to left of 17th green are now a swale.
4. New pano.
5. Grasses.
