Re: Links no good on Win 11

Two year old computer running Windows 11 here. Sometimes Links will start up on the first try and run flawlessly, other times it might take a few tries to get Links to start but after that it usually runs fine. On rare occasions it will crash in the middle of a game, but it did that too as far back ...

Re: LIV

I think that a lot of those who jumped to the clown tour were in a pretty damned good financial situation already. You think most of those guys were previously worried how they were going to send off their kids to college? No way. This is all about greed.

Re: LIV TOUR

i've seen no evidence of LIV keeping any stats on the players games as they compete.....driving distance average, putting averages etc. i would still like to include the players into my career mode but with no stats and how to amalgamate them into the top 200 won't be easy. I've looked, and it seems...

Yes, thank you SO much to the designers and testers who continue to create courses for this great game. I can't say enough how much I appreciate your efforts.

Re: Shadow Creek

It's an incredible course, one which I've been able to set foot on a couple of times but haven't had the pleasure to play. Next month starting on May 25th the LPGA tour will have an event there. It will be shown on the Golf Channel. Currently the only in person viewing options I see available for th...

Re: Informal Age Poll

My informal age is 61. However I just got carded a couple of weeks ago when buying beer. Most people guess I'm in my 40s. Intellectually I'm probably somewhere in between. Would have loved to have lived in the ages before calendars, days of the week, hours of the day etc when life was more simple an...

And not only does he design them so quickly, but they are all quality courses. Thank you Sage (and those who beta test for him as well) for sharing your talents here with us. You've brought many of us so much pleasure. :clapping:

Re: Installing a Course

I'm using Windows 11. Nothing has changed at all for me in regards to downloading and installing courses. I download the course as usual, extract it as usual to my desktop. Open my courses folder, drag and drop the crz file to that location and that's that. No different from what I've done for years.

Re: Rolling Contoured Courses of Unpredictability

Another vote for Wyntoon. Crouching Beast is another one by the same designer that's very similar.
