Links APCD Notes For My Favorite Courses June 2022
I have been playing different versions of Links on and off (mostly off) for 30 years. For most of this time I averaged about 10 rounds per year, but I kept up with new releases on Links Corner and APCD-Courses over the years in the hope that one day I would get to play them. In late 2020, I decided ...

Re: Bayonne Golf Club
Bayonne is one of my favourite courses. Beautifully designed in feel its a cross between the best rollicking links course and Piazza Metallica.

Re: Golden Bear's Den website gone
Thanks very much for posting this update. Hopefully it can find a new home. I still play GBC sometimes because it still has a few courses I love which haven't been replicated in links, two of which were Pasatiempo and Sherwood. Thanks to all the designers who completed those awesome Links versions l...

Re: Seminole GC
Thanks for the great response Adelaide, that helps to clarify things. My post was not intended to discourage anyone from designing. I actually am hoping that this conversation will help to encourage anyone who is struggling or losing momentum to reach out to the community rather than let their proje...

Re: Seminole GC
Whether someone has designed or not is not the issue here, and I agree with Clint, based on my 20+ years of following and playing Links, it is unlikely this course will ever be released unless someone else is able to pick it up somehow. There are many people who do not design but don't go around mak...

Re: Silvertip
This was a beautiful and really fun course to play, thanks so much for sharing with us. One of the things I really liked was how much the pano reminds me of the area. Here is a photo I took when driving through Canmore back in December.

Re: Victoria National Golf Club
HI Sage, Sorry I must have been confused about Hamilton. A couple of days ago I played Wayne County what an amazing course. Some of the holes look like paintings. Last year I played a few of your earlier designs and it is incredible to see how far you have come in your work. Thanks for sharing this ...

Re: Victoria National Golf Club
HI Sage,
Is there any chance that you all might consider finishing the version of Royal Hamilton you had started? The designer of the other version seems to have disappeared from the community. Still appreciate the beautiful work that all of you put into St. George's.
Regards, ColinC
