Re: Starting an Update of Munchen Nord Eichenried
Oh lol, thank you for clarifying, I didnt catch that one. My last round in Links was ruined by a totally unnecessary tripple bogey on hole 17 for no reason other than being rusty around the green, so my Links playing skill is certainly deserving of some nudges at the moment. The judgement about the ...

Re: Starting an Update of Munchen Nord Eichenried
Was there really a need to take a swipe at someone's playing skill just because of having different preferences? Migolfer never said he was having trouble playing over or around the trees, the point of bringing it up might have been purely from a perspective of realism. And well, personally, I dont ...

Re: What Does "Render Selection" mean?
It goes by areas selected with the Box Zoom All tool (top-right-ish in APCD, below the Zoom tool) - it can be used in the Top View. There might be other ways to make selections too, not sure, but thats the one I've used for it. You can select the area both before and after swapping to Render Selecti...

Re: Starting an Update of Munchen Nord Eichenried
Thank you for that excellent post migolfer  I know there are a bunch of trees on the 2002 version that are borderline in play from tee, but they never seemed particularly unrealistic to me when I've played the course, so I always thought they were fine or close enough to fine, personally. I s...

Re: Completed Hole will not play in Links2003
Is there perhaps a lot of planting within view from 3rd tee, or anything else that is special about that tee?
Feel free to send it through pm if you want me to take a look and see if I can find something.

Re: tournament crashes
Do you have any more info about the crashes? Do they tend to happen at certain points in time during gameplay for example? How do the crashes happen? Does the game freeze up or simply close down to desktop on its own? Any error messages? Have you ever noticed the sky in Links turning into a dull blu...

Re: Crash codes
Saving often helps mitigate losses so I definitely agree about that being good, but it doesnt mitigate the actual risk of crashing (at least not theoretically). Some APCD crashes seem to at least partly be caused by some type of memory leak. It is the sort of thing that builds up over time, so if go...

Re: Starting an Update of Munchen Nord Eichenried
Thanks for interest and comments (I liked the beer joke). It seems like no one really cares about the changes though, so I will just go ahead and do as I like about it then. Giving everyone a final chance to speak up until next week though, before I start. Planning on having a public beta upload for...

Re: Texture Blend
Not a big fan of the somewhat blue-ish dull colour of the texture between the rough and the rocky shore, but otherwise I think they all look very good together in that picture. Happy to see you're back and designing.
