Re: Links 2003 surface laptop win 10
I dont really know much about the demo, but try compatibility mode for Win 7 (right click LinksMMIII.exe > properties). If that fails, please provide us with more info about your system.

Re: PGA West Stadium Course - REDO
Still getting same issues with Beta 4, but I dont think the problem is with the water anymore, I think the issue ought to be caused by something in the opposite direction. It seems my earlier issue was because of the landing cam (and some other cameras have trouble too in the same spots), and I beli...

Re: Can enyone help
Derrick can you show an image of what it looks like? I have difficulty understanding exactly what you meant in your first two posts. Were you using the "Add Vert" tool or the "Terrain Painter" tool or the "Move Vert" tool when the issue occurs or something else? What ty...

Re: PGA West Stadium Course - REDO
Lovely course. Was just about to conclude my beta testing and picking pins for my future full round without any spotted issues when I got a crash on 18th green (see first image below). I can recreate the crash 100% of the time from the same exact angle even from different distances back or forward, ...

Re: A Course Handicapping Method...
Never used it, seems odd. You could just take the values from the "Average" row - because those seem to be correct - and just calculate it yourself. Let me state for the record that I have absolutely nothing against handicapping fictional courses for Links based on scoring averages equatin...

Re: People On Bridge
Honestly tho, I'd just build a new bridge from terrain. Nice quick & easy structure to get your 3D skills up, and it could look so much better than that stock object. I agree with "nice", but I dont know about "quick" ... I've never done any particularly elaborate br...

Re: People On Bridge
Hmm I didnt need to do that though when I planted people on 3D object galleries, I just raised them up on the Z axis and then they stayed there even though there were no terrain faces. Possibly the tournament objects are different than the bridges, or maybe it has to do with something else. Creating...

Re: A Course Idea....Is This Even Possible
I think you can only do one DEM import at one point for any single course file, so I dont think it would be possible to do what you want with DEM, at least not in the traditional way. Possibly one might be able to manipulate the DEM import to contain several holes from different courses before loadi...

Re: PROBLEM WITH LINKS CORNER UPLOADS FOR LINKS03
Yes patch 1.07 should indeed solve the problem. The reason the original courses work for you but not the others is because the original ones do not have high-resolution textures. Patch 1.07 makes the game able to handle courses with high resolution textures (among other things).

Re: HOLE NUMBERS
If you use the Hole swap function, of course it re-routes your course. Its very quick and easy once you've sorted out which holes to progressively swap, so you can get the holes in the new preferred order. Which function? Can you describe how to get it to work? Edit: Nevermind, I got the "Swap...
