Re: new computers suck

I can "Practice" okay - but playing a round crashes to Desktop. Also can't get "Challenging" conditions to show up? Patch 1.02 is showing an error message? You won't have challenging conditions show until you install patch 1.07. I assume you have no patches installed at this sta...

Re: A blast from the past

Welcome back! I remember you and your courses. I thought Hop Farm went as far back as Links 2001 and so I checked and yep, you been around quite a while. Hopefully someone picks up your course. For those of us still playing, the Links series is as strong as ever and new courses are appreciated. Bein...

No worries, just offering a suggestion to yourself or anyone else who wants to keep playing earlier Links versions.

Re: Microsoft Links golf 1998

By your description those ani's should be from Links 2001. I think the booyah guy is the "Bob" ani. Bob and Craig Stadler came in Expansion Pack 2 for Links 2001. Unfortunately Link 2001 ani's will not work in Links 2003. Thanks for the reply shame that they are not compatible but at leas...

Re: Links LS 98 manual

Had a great offer for the manual but I don't want it to be too much trouble for anyone.
I'm still chasing it and if anyone does happen to have scanned their Links 98 manual, I'm still looking for it.

Re: Amedal GK - Fictional Course Full Release

The "fuzziness" struck me as being an atmospheric look. Pete Yes! Muted and harmonious textures that give the course a very unique, relaxing atmosphere. I praised Adelade for this. I certainly consider the textures a major positive. For those who have ever played a Steve Opfer course in a...

Re: They were different times...

Dang that is rather gorgeous if I may say so. What year was it? And if you used an image editor, do you remember its name? It would've been maybe 2001 I would guess. I likely used Photoshop CS2 back then. Today you could really go crazy and make some great covers if you spent the time but no one us...

They were different times...

...when you actually bothered to try and make things look good!

Ok...I'll admit...I only ever created this one custom case because it took too long to do but hey, it's fun to find it again to look back on!

Links LS 98 manual

Looking to find the manual for Links LS 98.
If anyone here has it and could scan/upload it as a pdf would be greatly appreciated.

Don't hold much hope of finding a copy but doesn't hurt to ask.
