Re: Capital Golf Course (Aussie course)
Love the teaser, looking forward to it :cheers1: Of course very difficult to judge only looking hastily at total yardage and overhead like I did, but doesnt look like the course is all that easy to me, I think Im safe in allowing my hopes to get up  :clapping: I think an averagely decent lin...

Re: Sage Vanni Wow 150 courses released, Wow.
I find it hard to grasp how much work that actually is! I reckon if I was to work fulltime on designing courses I would manage 4 a year, at best. So I'm not going to live long enough to put out 150. Well, not unless I live to be 96 and create those 4 a year. Well done Sage.

Oooooo. Love real courses. Very pretty! TY Duglis. Dan put the Google Earth map into a texture for me, so have been doing it as close as I can get to everything being correct. Just using Earth for green heights and slopes at the moment, but might possibly get the strakaline book for it yet. Just ha...

I love it, much more fun than all the elevations and seams etc. Planting is what brings a course to life, I love choos...

Capital Golf Course (Aussie course)
Thought maybe people might be interested to see this. Been working hard on this for a few weeks, though still lots to do. But course is in a playable state for all 18 holes now. Capital is a privately owned course in Melbourne, visited by the rich and famous, and those with enough money or connectio...

Re: How Many Courses Have Lighthouses ?
"Confirmed " :cheers1: Oh , and about " Lighthouse Determination " The discussion was to highlight each golf course that had light houses on the course itself . But reasoning that some may be across a bay , and still be part of the landscape while playing can be enough to added ...

Re: Worth buying the full course suite when purchasing Links 2003?
For the sake of only a few extra $$ I would grab them. They are MS courses, which means they are locked, so nobody can edit and re-release them. There are heaps of other great courses available for free, but those ones aren't, as far as I know.

Re: Do people only want to see and play real courses?
I ticked option 3, as I like both. It's nice to play an actual real course, but there are some great fictional ones as well. Stephen, I know what you mean with creating actual courses. It can be a bit annoying that the lovely bunkers you create and which would be a hazard to a bogie golfer on a real...
