Re: Hole tee off area signage

I voted yes but not sure about scale. Looks a little too big in that particular screenshot.

Re: top cam

You can get the latest version here: v2.63.1

http://dege.freeweb.hu/

If there are any issues, v2.55.1 is what most people have been using successfully with Links. You can get that version off the same site or from here:

Re: The mouse swing (All golf games)

I use an optical mouse and a wired mouse at the same. The wired mouse works great with PS and the optical is the best option for RTS. I use a foursome of Pro PS, Pro click, Champ RTS (optical), and Elite RTS (wired). Yeah I know there's a lot going on, but it usually turns out to be a interesting r...

Re: new computers suck

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Links 2003 (AppData is a hidden folder, can google how to make hidden folders visible if needed, or ask here.) I just checked the folder. I have Links 2003 mops showing there. That's about all there is for Links or a...

Re: new computers suck

I am not a Win10 user, so I have no idea where to locate the Virtual Store files. :dunno: Glad you figured it out. :cheers1: I'm a Win 10 user and have no idea either! lol Never had to deal with it. On this note though, bostonlefty, do you have Links installed to the default location? This is what ...

Re: The mouse swing (All golf games)

If anyone wishes to try out PGA 2000 let me know, it is now distributed free and this was brought up on the old LC forum. Be aware Win 10 has broken it after an update. You can run it through a VM but only the click swing works so you will need a Win 7 or Win XP machine. I've just finished downloadi...

Re: The mouse swing (All golf games)

I gave up the Powerstroke swing when I changed from a ball mouse to an optical mouse. The optical mouses I have tried over the years are completely unusable and erratic as hell for me when trying to use Powerstroke in XP. When I changed to Windows 7, just for kicks I tested PS again, and was surpri...

Re: The mouse swing (All golf games)

My cheap Samsung Mouse has been brilliant over the years since 2004. I Better start looking for a replacement on line perhaps I could fine the same make a model, who knows? I click in Links but in the other 2 games I have used the mouse swing. It appears the accuracy/precision of the mouse makes a ...

The mouse swing (All golf games)

Something of interest. My experience is from other games but some of this may apply to Links. It appears a computer mouse can make a massive difference to any type of golf game mouse swing. In the past I played Tiger Woods 2003 with a good quality mouse. I struggled to break par and the game was a g...

Re: Disappearing courses

Haven't experienced it but I'll be interested to see if other problems arise over the next week or so for people. 2 suspect threads now in 24 hours regarding a possible Windows 10 update. May be coincidence but for anyone here, I would be putting updates on hold for a little while until we can make...
