OK guys, Give this one a try. It took me forever to get it fixed but I think this will work. I'm working on a fix.
In APCD it says nothing about rock in the textures or the seam blend properties.
I'm using a new seam blend to see if that makes a diff.
I've had this happen in other courses I've done.

I can not find a "rock" texture anywhere near where you describe.

Maybe play it again and find the area of rock and do a screen shot showing "rock" with the direction indicator.

Who else spends a lot time undoing or having to delete double or triple vert plantings?
For me I'd say a good 10% minimum.
