I can only echo everyone else in thanking you for the wealth of courses you gifted to us. I hope some day you will feel the urge to design again and unretire. Wishing you the best.

Re: New Links Game On Steam ( Links E6 )
Yeah. This game is from some of the Links people. I suppose the good thing about it is that it is free to play on Steam with five courses to play. It has some good graphics and enhancements. But... Here's some of the negatives for me: 1. You have to play it on Steam and I don't like Steam. So..it's ...

Danny. I still have discs of Virtual Pool 2 and 3. Not sure why I didn't move on to VP4 but I think I was satisfied enough with VP3 that I just stuck with it. I like simulation games such as Links and other golf games. MS Flight Simulator, Nascar 4, Grand Prix 4, MAME and MESS for arcade and console...
Re: Games
I grew up playing bumper pool in bars. Loved it. Haven't played it in a long time. I had a regulation pool table in my basement for a long time. I could make jump shots with a shorty jump cue although I didn't practice it much as I was afraid of damaging the table. I never got really good bu...

Somehow, I overlooked this cours near Denver, Co. It's only six miles from Castle Pines and is every bit as good as Steven Loucey's Castle Pines. It's labeled as the most exclusive golf course in the world with an interesting back story. The version in Links is just gorgeous and wonderful to play. I...

Re: Munchen Nord - Tree changes
For what it's worth, here are a couple of screenshots from JN6. Not a definitive anything, of course. There also is a version from TW08 but trees don't come into play at all. In fact, there are only bushes.

Re: TPC Craig Ranch
Tom Weiskopf was the designer of this course. He died on saturday at the age of 79 at Big Sky, MT which is near where I live in Bozeman, MT. He designed a course in Bozeman call Black Bull. It's private but I got to play it a couple of times with a member. He was a golfer of my era and a darn good o...

Re: TPC Craig Ranch
The fence on the fairway of hole 3 is pretty curious. I see it on the real-life flyovers too, anyone know why its there? Letting the ground recover from wear/construction or something? Might be safest to not grab the driver there (from Back tee). Yeah. The flyover clearly shows a fence in the middl...

Re: TPC Craig Ranch
Ron, all 18 holes I played had a distinct texture for either green(unstriped) or fairway(striped). I did notice that there was no fringe texture around the greens. I guess that was planed? Anyway, still loving this course so far.
