Planting - EXCEPTION TYPE::ACCESS VIOLATION
I was starting to do the plant the grass on Gozzer Ranch using the Plant Forest. For an unknown reason the Plant Forest sometimes worked and sometimes not, approx 1 in 5 worked. In light of the posts regarding blank areas of planting, I was planting small areas and checking each time and then saving...

Re: NGLA and Coeur d'Alene
I think this is more to do with the computer player than the course design.
With a human player, if your ball goes into the water they have they have the option of moving the drop zone backwards to an area that is playable.
I assume the computer player is not programmed to do this.

Re: Going crazy
Glenn, It is one of the most frustrating occurrences of APCD that after having a productive hour or so APCD just crashes. (I'm afraid I am guilty of not doing my backups when I am doing well, then after a crash I start backing up every 30 minutes. Horse and bolted spring to mind.) I have been having...

Re: Arcadia Bluffs
Sage, I am just going through the same process for Gozzer Ranch, and each time I look at the grasses I change my mind. jwgriffingca » Sun Apr 14, 2024 4:26 pm Sage - I think the wet/green grass looks better with the underlying texture. It's more subdued and blends better. I agree with John. ...

Re: GIMP
Sage, Good morning. I tried the Threshold, but there was no change. It did, however, get me thinking about the settings, and it seems that lowering the Opacity on the bucket Fill from 100 to 95 gives me the finish I want, or at least what I am happy with. All I have to do now is remove the sky, and ...

Re: GIMP
Sage,
Thank you.
I am away from my PC for the rest of the day and I will do what you suggest in the morning, and let you know.
It is very time consuming having to val/save each time, but such is APCD.
Thanks again,
Ian

On each course I build I always have a problem with the panorama having a white line across the top of the terrain below the sky. On Mountaintop Golf and Lake Club, Daniel helped me, and when I made the panorama for Black Rock I was determined to learn how to remove the white line myself, and after ...

Big Sexy,
Congratulations on what is a wonderful achievement.
I have greatly enjoyed reading your posts , even though I didn't understand some of the technical points.
I look forward to following your next APCD project.
