If the arrow is up, you're on an upslope and a neutral shot would be shorter. If arrow is down, you're on a downslope and you could hit it longer or skull it in real life, laugh. Left and right arrow determines whether you should aim the opposite way to compensate for the slope.

I'm still experimenting w/ the new EA game for $10. Note there is no Links 2k3 style real time swing via mouse. They force the need for an xbox style controller with its analog sticks for the swing or you can use of the old three click method which I've been trying. I used to use that method before ...

And amusingly enough a few days after my post, it's gone on sale from 70 to 10 bucks, laugh. I think I'll pick it up and take a look.

You can also avoid some difficulties by pointing the installation to a non-user protected directory like c:\games\Links2K vs. 'program files'.

Can I ask is it worth paying a bit extra and downloading the game with all the official courses? Looks like there are a lot of user courses that are better looking! For a lot of us it's the nostalgia factor, I played these original official courses into the ground when they came out the first time ...

What Surface rev.? As they're integrated Intel graphic chips, you'll probably need the Voodoo/DX wrapper referenced in the stickied post.
