Re: LIV
Now it's April 2024, and still no word of an agreement/reconciliation between the PGA and LIV. So I have to assume it was basically an agreement to stop bashing each other in public and let the chips fall as they may. But what if Scottie Scheffler were to jump ship? That would be very interesting!

Re: Bionic limb
So Woods will play Riviera. It's a relatively flat course compared with, say, Augusta. And it's also a course he's never won on, and I'm sure that factors into his decision to play there. What a feat that would be: Win #83 for all-time greatest number of wins, at a course he's never conquered. But r...
Re: LIV
I don't have any additional information, but the latest impressions from those who decided to stay with the PGA is that the merger with PIF will be problematic if there isn't some kind of penalty/retribution/compensation before allowing the "renegades" to return. While Rory has backed off...
Re: LIV
https://www.foxnews.com/sports/scottie-scheffler-wants-punishment-liv-golfers-left-pga-tour-merger-goes-through "if merger goes through"? As I've long suspected, it seems nothing at all has been done about forging a merger between PGA and LIV. That could all have been worked on and finishe...

A man walks by his neighbor's house and notices his neighbor sitting outside on a lawn chair. "What are you doing out here all by yourself?" he asks. "My wife is in there singing, and I'm sitting out here so the neighbors won't think I'm beating her."

Re: Bionic limb
So, as always happens, the moment I blabber about a bionic replacement, I learn he's had additional surgery on the ankle and now jogs pain-free through 18 holes and does a moonwalk on the 18th. Just one more win would be monumental, but a max of eight tournaments a season makes that iffy. But even a...

Re: LIV
There's not even a whisper about any of this on pgatour.com, but I expected that. Funny how we never hear about LIV players wanting to return to the PGA Tour. Players can talk all they want about how they just love to play golf, but it's obviously mostly about the money. How much are they signing Ra...
Re: LIV
Two words: Jon Rahm!
Who woulda thought? Now you seriously have to wonder who's next. Meanwhile we're hearing absolutely nothing about this merger. Maybe Rahm leaving the PGA will speed things up.

Warning: Maybe NSFW! A guy was in a terrible accident and his John Thomas was going to be amputated. The surgeons advised him he could have a normal replacement excised from a deceased donor, or he could participate in an experimental procedure and have an elephant's trunk grafted on. He thought abo...
