Re: Links and Linux. Some additional Info...
Hi guys... Here's the techie I follow to keep up with Starlink and other other valuable tech information. He wrote a feature called "LIFE AFTER ADOBE" to assist those of you that think Adobe has gone way overboard on the way they charge for their services. He is doing another feature calle...

Re: Gozzer Ranch final
Pete, Thank you for the update. I have checked the seam blends and found that all the seam blends that include the following textures are incorrect: First Cut, Deep Grass, Soil, Rock, Tee, and Gravel Path. I have no idea how this happened as I checked/corrected each seam blend a day or two before u...

Re: Getting custom 3D objects into the APCD
Sorry about that Adelade, I didn't notice the question. Nope, I'm not using the clone tool. I only use the APCD in the .zip file created by Danny D available here. I do have a separate APCD directory for each course I work on but that is not relevant for this conversation. Are you able to import a ...

Re: Getting custom 3D objects into the APCD
That file conversion cannot be done. Using Links Extender to get 3D out of a course file is not possible. I wish it was possible but I have given up on the idea. You can start with a 3D object in the APCD directory and convert the .xyz and .map files with Links Extender to the .obj and .tga file fo...

Re: Terrain Painter
I agree with jw and all the rest. The problem has been around since day 1. I have looked at it in every way I know how, and have concluded its just another annoying APCD glitch that can't be solved. It is frustrating to say the least. When I get annoyed with it, I switch over to single-shot verts, a...

Re: Getting custom 3D objects into the APCD
I will look for some way to convert the TGA into 8-bit, I bet there is some converter to find online somewhere, or else I will try out GIMP if that can save them as 8-bit TGA. Hi Adelade... I use an old graphics program called "Paint Shop Pro 7" that will save in 8 bit format. I can't fin...
