L3 is a player file and SSF is a sound file.

My NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M cant do transluscent shadows either. I wonder if its because its a mobile (laptop) one, possibly. @Adelade, Just curious if your laptop has more than one graphics card? My current laptop has the aforementioned AMD Radeon R7 on the motherboard and a separate AMD Radeon R8 ...

The only time I have been able to have translucent golfer shadows was when I had a Nvidia graphics card.

I currently have an AMD Radeon R7 graphics card and can only get opaque golfer shadows.

Other's mileage may vary.

No one has figured out how to do those after all these years. It was a unique feature to those courses.

David, Do you mind sharing what software package you are making your hole previews in? The reason I ask, the one's I have been making end up being in the 40-60KB range each when finalized as a jpg. The one you attached is 155KB. Not sure why that would matter unless there is something different your...
