Re: APCD 3D House Tutorial
Thanks Dan. Thought as much. No wonder Designers are shying away from this course! Houses from the 2001 set - yes, possibly. But that only leaves about 300 plus caravans! However, might it not be possible to create just one caravan off site (they're all pretty much the same) then add that to the pla...

Re: APCD 3D House Tutorial
Well done Dan for all your hard work. Found your tutorial fascinating - and your method of shadow removal works!!!!! However, I still have a problem. I'm working on Ballybunion, and there are three caravan parks, a graveyard full of stones, and numerous houses - about 4-500 3D objects in all. If I g...

Crashes on Startup of APCD
I now also have a crash on startup of APCD - basically APCD says that stdterrain.lib can't be read and I need to check that it's in my working directory - which it is, so it must have gotten corrupted. Presumably I just go back to my original disk, transfer it again, and problem solved? Any help wel...

Ballybunion Old Course
Last week, I did a brief outline model of Askernish, a Tom Morris links course in South Uist, as a warm-up for a model of Ballybunion Old Course, the classic Irish links course, which I thought I'd have a go at. However, when I looked at the Ballybunion web site, there's a fantastic fly-by of the co...

Re: Colonial, Winged Foot West, Riviera, maybe more...
I knocked out Harding Park (18 and 9 hole) some time ago when I saw that they were going to play the USPGA there. They're not locked, so feel free to help yourself.

Re: St Mellion
Sorry Pete, my mistake - it's the 10th tee that needs moving! I only found this out because I'm working on the Kernow Course which I thought would be easy, but sod's law prevails - there are two par 4's under the Links yardage limit which makes tee placement awkward.

Re: So many courses...so much time?
Hi Adelade
I did a very shortform of both the Portrush Courses prior to last year's Open, but they're not locked and you're more than welcome to use anything you need. The heights and locations of tees, greens, fairways and bunkers are all pretty accurate.

Re: St Mellion
Thanks Pete. Have already spotted a couple of things that need to change - the Clubhouse needs altering substantially, and the 11th tee is in the wrong place! These don't detract from the game, though.
